Instructional Look-Fors Overview
Walk through the 6 literacy look-fors on the observation tool. Use video clips to illustrate each one. Discuss in pairs.
Classroom Observations (3 Classrooms)
Groups of 4 visit 3 classrooms for 10 minutes each. Use the observation tool. Record evidence only — no judgment during the walk.
Evidence-Based Debrief
Back in the meeting space, groups sort evidence by look-for. Identify patterns across classrooms. What instructional moves did we see?
Next Steps & Instructional Commitments
Each teacher commits to one instructional adjustment based on what they observed. Document in the team learning log.
